Looking at your image in the network...

Nowadays, as all of you may know, everything goes through the Internet and experts say that having the right reputation and referrals is the way to stand out in any job or interview.
So many people are struggling to get a job or at least the opportunity to have an interview which ironically is perhaps even harder. The first thing a recruitment consultant or potential employer will do after they receive the CV of anyone looking for an executive or management position is to check them out online. So it is vital to have the right digital presence, according to Louis Halpern, author of Personal Reputation Management

This does not mean that it is better not to have online presence at all because it may be not good for your image also. The ideal, according to Halpern, is to have the right digital reputation so you may better start thinking from now, on what is the impression you want to leave for those who are interested in you as a possible candidate for working in their organization.

Bear in mind from now on, that your image can cost you money; improving your appearance on the Internet it is as easy as go on your computer and type your name into any search engine to see what comes up, then start to clean up everything you may think inappropriate or irrelevant to put in your networks. Instead, you can start creating a blog in which you can publish your general profile (without mentioning details of your daily life), your own thoughts as a professional and also demonstrate your intelligence.

Always remember... The first impression is the first thing that matters.
